Bernard M Kaminsa is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) of the UK and of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA).
Bernard holds a practicing certificate from ZICA. He is also a holder of the full ACCA qualification obtained from Emile Woolf College in the United Kingdom and the Zambia Diploma in Accountancy obtained from Evelyn Hone College in Zambia. Bernard, who is Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer at GBO, has over twenty-seven years' experience in accounting and auditing obtained in the financial services sector, manufacturing, and in public practice. Bernard is also the Compliance Partner for the firm, in charge of quality control policies and procedures.
He has held many senior management positions in various organisations including Zambia National Commercial Bank (ZANACO), where he held the position of General Manager - Accounting & Finance. Bernard also worked at Dalal Naik & Phiri (now PKF Chartered Accountants) where he was Audit Manager and at Dukon Paints Limited where he was Finance Manager.
Bernard is a seasoned chartered accountant and an associate member of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA). He holds a practicing certificate from ZICA.
Bernard has over eleven years of broad and extensive experience in both private and public sectors, including serving clients like TAZARA, RTSA, Mulungushi University, BSI Steel, Caritas Zambia, CSPR, JCTR and many more.
He started his career in 2010 shortly after graduating from ZCAS and has steadily risen through the ranks at GBO.
